WARDOGS beginner tips: what should new players learn first?

Hey everyone,

I'm still getting used to WARDOGS and honestly spend half my time figuring out what I'm supposed to be doing.

Some matches feel pretty straightforward, then the next one turns into complete chaos. I keep wondering whether I'm missing something obvious.

What would you tell someone who's just starting out? Are there any habits that make a noticeable difference once you stop playing like a complete potato?

Not looking for some massive guide. Just stuff you wish somebody had told you earlier.

Don't sprint everywhere lol. I used to do that constantly and then wonder why every encounter went badly.

Learn the map before worrying about anything else. Knowing where you are and where you're trying to go saves you from a lot of unnecessary trouble.

I disagree a little. You can learn the map naturally while playing. I'd rather learn how the weapons and movement feel first.

Both are fair. I'd start with the controls and basic movement, then pay attention to the map during normal matches. Trying to learn everything at once is overwhelming.

OP here. The sprinting advice is painfully accurate. Apparently I have two speeds: sprint and panic.
