WARDOGS software compatibility: what should I check before installing anything?
Closed thread Closed by archiveBefore installing any third-party software for WARDOGS, what do you guys actually check?
I'd want to know the supported Windows versions, whether the software is still maintained, what permissions it needs, and whether it conflicts with the game's rules.
The part I find confusing is how quickly compatibility information becomes outdated after a game update.
Is there a basic checklist people follow?

Windows version and game version should both be listed somewhere if compatibility is being claimed. If neither is mentioned, I'd be suspicious.
Read the game's policy too. A tool being compatible doesn't mean it's permitted.
And don't run something just because an antivirus warning tells you to ignore it. That's terrible advice.
OP here. Compatibility and permission are two different checks. That's a much better way to think about it.
